An alternative to your peanut butter and toast kind of breakfast!
This is an all natural, vegan, gluten free, nutrient dense, keep you going all day type of meal!
Recipe for one person
1 cup of Mylk of choice (I like oat Mylk)
4-5 dates (cut into small chunks)
1 tbsp Peanut Butter
1 tbsp Oat
1 tbsp Hemp
2 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
Pinch of fine Sea Salt
Spices you can add
In a saucepan, on medium heat, simmer the Mylk with the Peanut Butter and the Dates for about 5 minutes.
Turn to low and add the Oat, Hemp and Chia Seeds. If the consistency is too thick, add some more Mylk and stir for a minute or 2.
Remove from heat and add the Cocoa Powder, Sea Salt and Spices of choice.
Garnish with Coconut chips, cacao nibs, granola, yogurt, sliced Bananas, Berries, Nuts, or anything you'd like!
