What is Vega Testing

Vega Testing works with an electrodermal device that is designed to use the acupuncture points in the hand to find any imbalances in the body.  When referring to being in balance, the body transmits a vibration unique to each person and resonates it, everything is in harmony.  If there is an imbalance, this vibration will show a change and the Vega device will help us in determining the area in the body that needs support to find balance again.

If you experience these symptoms, Vega Testing might be a good option for you:

  • Fatigue, low energy, tiredness

  • Brain fog, poor memory, poor concentration

  • Muscle cramping, aches and pains

  • Reduce immune system effectivity

  • Gastro-intestinal imbalance: gas, bloating, nausea, vomiting, Crohn's disease, IBS

  • Inflammation

  • Allergies

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Yeast, fungal or parasitic infection

Here are some of the information you can obtain from the Vega test:

  • Vitamin and mineral deficiencies

  • The presence of irritants

  • Digestive issues

  • The stress level on each organ and different body systems

  • Food and chemical sensitivities

  • Yeast, bacterial or viral infection/infestation

  • Heavy metals toxicity

  • Parasites contamination

The electrodermal device was developed by Dr. Reinhold Voll, M.D. DSS in the 1950s, in Germany.  This first system required multiple acupuncture points and got simplified by Dr. Schimmel, DMD later on to become the Vega Test Method we know now, which is using only one acupuncture point usually in the hands.

The electrodermal device may appear similar to other modern diagnostic techniques such as some magnetic resonance device (MRT), but there are important differences.  The device is simple and is based on ancient practices and is safer and more holistic, versatile, and cost effective.(1)  It is natural, non-invasive, and does not require long periods of avoidance of offending foods, or environmental stimuli. (2)

In one study consisting of 43 patients aging from 10 to 60 years old showed that Vega Testing was positive and patient were successfully treated.  The results indicated that Vega Testing is effective, reliable and comparable to other testing methods. (3)

In a double-blind methodology, the electrodermal device was able to differentiate 96% of the time between an allergic and nonallergic substances. (4)

What to expect during your appointment

During this non invasive session, you will be asked to hold a cylinder (the ground or negative) in one hand and on the other, Marie-Lou will place the round end of a probe (the positive) to find the best energy conducting area (this is pain free, I promise).  This will make a complete circle connecting you and the Vega device.  Vials of homeopathy representing each body parts will be placed on the device so it can associate with your body's specific organs and will give a sound and number value.  This valuable information is the resonance of your body's energy.  After gathering all the information,  suggestions will be given to you to help you find balance again.

In this confidential and safe setting, you will be able to find answers to your questions.  Marie-Lou's goal is to support you on your journey to a healthy well balanced body and mind through a smooth and enjoyable process.

Vega Testing helps to gather information about your overall health.  It is not to diagnose, cure or treat, but instead to be used as a tool in helping you find answers and come to a balance.  Western and alternative approaches can work together to help you achieve your goal.  The information and advice provided during your appointment is educational and informational.
